The City of Hillsboro ("City") is building a fiber to the premise (FTTP) network throughout the Hillsboro community. This network will serve multiple purposes but will primarily be leveraged to provide the HiLight broadband internet service to homes and businesses. The next phase built will include the final areas to be constructed in the Shute Park zone and the Davis Road zone (Shute Park Phase 3). The City will acquire some of the materials which have a long lead time in an effort to minimize the impact of material availability on the overall rollout plan. The City is issuing this solicitation to find qualified organizations to provide the materials required for the construction of the Shute Park Phase 3 of Hillsboro's fiber-optic network. This includes fiber cable, handholes, splice enclosures, and splitter cabinets.
