The City of Hillsboro seeks competitive sealed bids from qualified and experienced firms able to provide fiber network construction, materials, and installation. The City of Hillsboro is constructing a fiber-to-the-premise network within Hillsboro. This solicitation is intended to provide connectivity to the Nueva Esperanza affordable housing development within Hillsboro. Construction will be related to underground installation work with no aerial installation work. The Contractor will be responsible for labor, some materials, and all aspects of network infrastructure including, but not limited to; creating and adhering to a schedule for the work, the installation of fiber, splice closures, cabinets, fiber splicing, testing, inspections, permits, safety, and restoration. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
