Renovation of a municipal facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City of Hillsboro ("City") seeks qualified contractors capable of performing work to support our HiLight broadband internet service. This work will consist of tasks associated with installing the conduit, paths, and fiber cable to connected commercial buildings or multi-dwelling units (MDUs). This work will be performed outdoors and indoors depending on existing connectivity and the design for each location. The Contractor will perform tasks associated with installing the connectivity between our existing fiber distribution networks installed in the right of way (ROW), public utility easement (PUE), the customer's multi-dwelling unit property or commercial building, and the units or offices within the building. It will include items such as the exterior installation of underground micro conduit, fiber cable within conduit, aerial fiber cable drops from utility poles, splicing, and testing. It will also include the installation of interior infrastructure and cabling such as fiber distribution units, conduits, raceways, drop cables, and wall jacks.
