Site work and paving for a civil project in Star Valley, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

This federally funded project consists of construction of water lines as follows: Waterline - the project includes furnishing, installation, and construction of: 1. Approximately 552 LF of 8" diameter C900 PVC waterline pipe (DR 18, Pressure Class 235 psi min.) 2. Four (4) gate valves, 8", each with valve box/cover 3. One (1) connection to existing 6" water line from installed 8"x6" tee 4. One (1) connection to existing 6" water line with cut-in 8"x8" tee 5. One (1) connection to existing 8" water line with 8"x8" tapping sleeve 6. Approximately 76 LF of 1" diameter HDPE water service line 7. Miscellaneous water line removals, capping/plugging, and AC pipe abandonment 8. Approximately 72 SY of asphalt pavement removal & replacement 9. Traffic Control 10. Mobilization 11. Any and all other associated contingent and miscellaneous items of work to complete the proposed improvements to provide a fully functional water supply and distribution system. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, services, transportation, and perform all work for the Town's project for the Town of Star Valley, Arizona, as called for in the Technical Specifications and on the Plans (Construction Drawings). The proposer should prepare a detailed time schedule for completion. The bid guarantee shall be in the form of a certified or cashier's check, upon a solvent bank or a surety bond for five (5%) percent of the amount of the bid. The contractor will be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond each equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount. No substitution or other form of bond will be allowed. The deadline for questions from bidders shall be 5:00 pm, Wednesday, July 27, 2022. A limit of two (2) sets of documents per general contractor. Bidding documents may be examined at the Town Hall, Town of Star Valley; and at the offices of the Engineer, RICK Engineering Company, Attention: Dale Miller, 22415 N 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85024. The Town of Star Valley has also provided bid/contract documents including plans and specifications to various plan rooms. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The Town of Star Valley also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of ninety (90) days after the date of opening. Bidders will not be allowed to withdraw submitted bids during the ninety (90) day period.
