The project includes the erection and installation of a welded steel water tank on a prepared foundation with all appurtenant piping, fittings, and related construction work to make a complete and fully functional potable water storage tank connected to the Town's public water system. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total base bid amount, and made payable to the Town of Star Valley. Such Check or Bid Bond will be given as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a Contract, if awarded, and will provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, and shall be declared forfeited as Liquidated Damages if the successful Bidder refuses to enter into the said Contract after being requested to do so by the Town of Star Valley. Such Check or Bid Bond will be returned to the respective unsuccessful Bidders upon request after the award of the Contract, and to the successful Bidder on execution and delivery of a satisfactory Surety Company Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract Price.
