Ice Rink Refrigeration Services The Louis Astorino Ice Arena is located on Mix Avenue, Hamden, CT. It is a newly renovated arena maintained and owned by the Town of Hamden. The scope of the service is to provide comprehensive preventative maintenance and perform annual service to the Louis Astorino Ice Arena. A monthly inspection, accompanied by a full report consisting of log readings, conditions, any recommended repairs and miscellaneous findings is required upon completion of all inspections. The report is to be given to the arena director and the Public Works director and/or his designee. It is the responsibility of the vendor to check the website for such addenda prior to submission of any RFP. Failure to address any addenda relating to the bid of interest may disqualify submitted and or proposals. It is the sole responsibility of the responder to make sure the proposal is in the hands of the proper authority prior to the opening. The Bid shall be marked Bid #2929 Ice Rink Refrigeration Services. The Town of Hamden reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Proposals, or waive defects in same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the Town of Hamden. All questions are to be submitted to purchasing@hamden.com. Last day for questions is 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022.
