A firm timeline for start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The MASSACHUSETTS PORT AUTHORITY (Authority) is soliciting consulting services for MPA CONTRACT NO. L1354, Central Heating Plant (CHP) Upgrade - Boiler No. 3 Replacement. The Authority is seeking qualified multidiscipline consulting firms or teams, with proven experience to provide professional services relative to the replacement of the existing Boiler No. 3 in the (CHP) including but not limited to the boiler, its control system, exhaust, heat recovery systems, all pumps, piping, equipment and miscellaneous appurtenances necessary to provide a complete and functioning system. The boiler replacement is being undertaken by the Authority not only to address the age of the existing system but also to significantly improve efficiency and energy consumption. The Consultant must be able to work closely with the Authority and other interested parties in order to provide such services in a timely and effective manner. The consultant shall demonstrate experience in several disciplines including but not limited to Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, Electrical, Plumbing, Energy Modeling, Code Compliance, Cost Estimating, Permitting, 3D Scanning, BIM, LEAN and construction Phasing.
