For the improvements described herein in accordance with Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by the City Engineer, West Memphis, Arkansas. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: (a) The proposed work is officially known as the West Memphis 2022 Asphalt Overlay and Street Improvement Program, West Memphis, AR. (b) The proposed improvements consist primarily of street improvements including asphalt street overlay and related work. INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS: (b) Proposal Forms and Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications may be examined at the following location: MPO/CITY ENGINEER'S OFFICE 203 South Avalon West Memphis, AR 72301 (870) 702-5109 All proposal guarantees shall be made out to THE CITY OF WEST MEMPHIS. (d) All Bidders must be in compliance with the requirements of Act 150 of 1965, effective June 9, 1965, subject to any subsequent amendments which is the current Arkansas State Licensing Law for Contractors. (e) Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the Bidder, his Arkansas Contractor's license number, his address, and the Project name and number. Any Bid that does not bear this information will be automatically rejected. REJECTION OF BIDS: The City of West Memphis reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any technicalities and informalities.
