CRAWFORD COUNTY, INDIANA The Crawford County Commissioners will be accepting bids for the following roadway projects: The detailed proposal for each selected roadway is as follows: 1) East North Ridge Road starting at SR 66 west on North Ridge with a length of .70 mile. Mobilization, mill, prep, clean and application of HMA type B, 2 inch intermediate to include traffic control, 2) Alton Fredonia Road starting at South Cape Sandy Road and going north approx. 3,200 feet on Alton Fredonia Road with a length of .60 miles. Mobilization, mill, prep, clean and application of HMA Type B, 2 inch intermediate to include traffic control, 3) South Schooner Point Road from South Cape Sandy Road to East Ralph Lane with a length of .46 miles. Mobilization, mill, prep, clean and application of HMA type B, 2 inch intermediate to include traffic control and 4) South Cape Sandy Road from Alton Fredonia Road to Archibald Falls Road with a length of 1.04 mile. Mobilization, mill, prep, clean, HMA patching, type B 2 inch intermediate to include traffic control. Compacted 53 shoulder stone shall be placed along both sides of new paved roadways. Shoulder stone to be 18 inches wide where applicable. AII adjacent roads, driveways and mailboxes shall have an asphalt apron of 18 inches minimum width. Areas determined to be at structural failure throughout project areas as determined by the field engineer and/ or highway superintendent should be excavated and replaced with compacted stone backfill prior to being overlaid with asphalt as indicated above. Bids should be in an envelope labeled as Bid Documents, Bid for East North Ridge, Alton Fredonia, South Schooner Point and South Cape Sandy Roads. It is recommended the length of construction not exceed 45 calendar days on each project. All Bids must be accompanied by a Non-Collusion Affidavit and Form 96. The bids should be binding for a period of ninety (90) days from the date the bids are opened. The County Commissioners reserve the right to take the bids under advisement and reject any and all bids, for any and all reasons.
