This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. Work Description: Work to be done under this contract consists of: -Remove all material in front of barrier and behind barrier as per outlined in Diagram or as directed by Departmental Representative. -Spread excess material over fore slope, if excess material can't be spread over fore slope, must be hauled away. Haul waste to the nearest designated waste area as directed by the Departmental Representative. Payment for hauling of waste material will be shown on the Unit Price Table. See Line Diagram R.121138.001- 01 -Drain pipe must be removed before cleaning behind barriers. Re-install drain pipe to minimum 2% slope. Any damaged drain pans and drain pipe to be re-installed, material be supplied by PSPC. Payment will be through unscheduled labour, minimum four (4) labourer's required for contract. -Work to be completed on the Alaska Highway from Km 200- Km 968. For reference Fort Nelson is located at km 455, on the Alaska Highway, BC. Indigenous Consideration: Due to the remoteness and the location of the PSPC operated section of the Alaska Highway which passes through the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Treaty 8 Tribal Association (primarily the southern section of the Highway) as well as the traditional territories of the First Nations belonging to the Daylu Dena Council (primarily the northern section of the Highway), bidders are encouraged to employ the available local workforce and utilize other locally available resources and equipment.
