Eastern State Hospital - Westlake Patient Safety Bathrooms ESTIMATED BID COST RANGE: $551,000.00 to $609,000.00 (The hospital) has approved the following BHA guidelines regarding contractors: 1. Limit the exposure on the wards for bid purposes to 15 minutes per group. 2. Limit Access to the General Contractor only for bid purposes. 3. Limit the group to four individuals plus the one escort for no more than five individuals. 4. Provide the appropriate PPE for the ward status. Hospital provides the PPE for the contractors. 5. Provide a quick COVID training session to include the definitions of the different ward colors. This training occurs at the pre-bid conference before the walk-through. 6. Work with nursing staff (DONs) to assist with limiting exposure for staff and patients. Internal staff will work with the nursing staff.7. No access to RED wards. For awarded projects the contractor is to coordinate with the Hospital for the needed PPE to work on wards dependent on the restriction status. PPE: o Blue surgical grade masks. These are given out by the hospital when the contractors are screened daily. o Face shield (glasses are not accepted as a substitute) are to be provided by the contractor. FPS will be accepting mailed-in or hand-delivered bids. Contractors are highly encouraged to mail bids whenever possible in an effort to stay home and stay healthy. Clearly identify that it is a SEALED BID on the outside of the envelope. Include an attention line in the address to ensure that the bid is routed correctly.
