The material bid has been divid- ed into four (4) major sections. The sections are described as follows: 1. Pipe 2. Fire Hydrants and Valves 3. D.I. JM Compact Fittings and Accessories 4. Service Materials The Owner will award the proj- ect based upon the lowest re- sponsive, responsible bidder on the total bid of Section Nos 1 - 4. The Owner also requires that all vendors include an es- timated delivery date for each section and letter(s) from their manufacturer(s) supporting their delivery date claim on the Bid Form. The Owner reserves the right to take delivery date(s) into consideration during the awarding process. Included in the Invitation is the Owner's list of approved materi- als. The bidders shall only sub- mit bids on items detailed on the approved list of materials. The bidders shall provide the man- ufacturer(s) name for each sec- tion to ensure compliance with Owner's approved materials. Materials will be delivered to the Owner's property upon award- ing the purchase order to the low bidder and where the Own- er will receive and inventory all materials. Bidders will be required to pro- vide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond or cashier's check in the amount of a sum no less than five (5) percent of the Bid Price but no more than $10,000.00 All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope bearing on the outside the name of the bidder, bidder's address and name of the project. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 15 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids.
