Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the addition of a 150,000-square-foot, four-story above grade medical facility; for the demolition of a medical facility; for the renovation of a 100,000-square-foot medical facility; for site work for a medical facility; and medical facility.
First phase of the Institute's major modernization project aimed at increasing its reception capacity, improving the quality of the premises and correcting the dilapidated state of the existing infrastructures. The project will include upgrades and expansion of existing care units within existing spaces and construction of a new four-storey care pavilion totaling four secure care units linked to the existing complex. The project also includes the construction of a new two-storey pavilion accommodating specific academic activities, redevelopment and expansion of two existing pavilions (A and B) on floors totaling four care units, the integration of a new electrical mass and substations. The project will be carried out in phases. TIMELINE: Project design is ongoing. Project is included under the number 315 in list of the major provincial projects managed by Quebec Treasury Board Secretariat and going through reglementary approval process. Timelines of further project development are not finalized pending approvals.
