As of September 13, 2022, Contract #1 was awarded to TriState Utilities and began work last week. Scope of work Contract #1 3,000 LF - Cured in Place Pipe Lining for 8" gravity sewer main 900 LF of heavy cleaning through Ductile Iron Main Removal of protruding taps, and reinstatement of existing taps along the main Contract #2 Application of up to 145 VF of Polyurea Liner in existing MH's Replacement, Adjustment, Repair of Existing Manholes as specified Rehab, reline, minor repair of two existing wet wells The Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Plans, Specifications, Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at Mack Gay Associates, P.A. located at 1667 Thomas A Betts Pkwy, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 All project-related questions are to be submitted in writing to mike@mackgaypa.com, or 1667 Thomas A. Betts Pkwy, Rocky Mount, NC, 27804. This project is being funded in whole by Nash County. Nash County is committed to and supportive of efforts to effectively maintain and/or increase the use of Small and Minority/Women-Owned businesses and Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) contract participation for Construction Projects, services, and commodities purchases. No bidder may withdraw his/hers bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Nash County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
