Site work for a civil project in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The HSP project is located east of St Georges Avenue, between 1st Street E and 2nd Street E. The primary project objective for the project is to allow the subdivision of the existing city properties, which currently include the existing North Shore Neighborhood House ("NSNH"), Derek Inman Park and community gardens, in support of the future developments by the City. The general construction scope of the work required for the successful subdivision of the existing properties includes: Removal and Relocation of several utilities from the existing laneway. Construction of a new temporary outdoor childcare facility and demolition of an existing deck. The first part of the site preparation works will require the establishment of a new utility corridor along the north-south laneway that currently exists between the Derek Inman Park tennis courts and the 238 E 1st Street property. This new corridor will reroute the existing utilities that run along the east-west laneway (the "NSNH Laneway") located between 1st Street and 2nd Street, south towards 1st Street East where they will be reconnected to the existing utility infrastructure for each respective utility. Once these utilities are re-routed, it will allow the removal of the existing underground utilities along the NSNH laneway. The second part of the site preparation works includes the construction of new outdoor childcare areas for the Infant/Toddler and 3-5 yr old programs at the NSNH. These areas will be constructed in the laneway area immediately south of the existing NSNH. Once the new outdoor childcare areas are operational, the elevated deck shown in Figure 2 above will need to be demolished. No bids received. Plans to retender has not been determined.
