Project Category Code: Water and Wastewater Facilities Description: Base Bid: This bid section consists of constructing approximately 570 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer piping and 1,400 LF of 16-inch water main with smaller sizes of connecting pipe, installed by either trenching or trenchless technologies. Water main work will be completed inside Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) right-of-way. The sanitary sewer will be installed inside of permanent and temporary easements. Other project components will include connecting to existing water mains, fittings, valves, fire hydrant assemblies, pre-cast concrete manholes, pipe stub outs, dewatering, and associated incidental items of work as specified herein and indicated on the drawings for an acceptable and complete installation. This project will include utility extension to a new commercial building that is currently in construction. Contractor shall coordinate with building construction, utility connections, and site perimeter access as necessary. Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No prebid meeting required
