California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) is requesting proposals from qualified Elevator and Lift Maintenance and Repair companies for providing service to the Cal Poly campus. In general, the work consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, and other expenses necessary to effect and provide complete maintenance service to the elevators and wheelchair lifts located on the Cal Poly campus in accordance with the specifications. The intent of this solicitation is to request proposals from contractors, qualify them, and select the firm with which to contract based on the evaluation criteria listed in this RFP. This is a qualifications-based selection with cost as an important consideration, resulting in a multiyear service agreement. The University will only accept proposals from contractors with a current California State License Board-issued C11 - Elevator Contractor license and current California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) Public Works Registration. Any questions, interpretations or clarifications of this RFP must be requested via electronically and received by the University before 5:00 PM PDT on July 7, 2022.
