Renovation of a municipal facility in Morganton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The County of Burke is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the replacement of the roof of the Burke County Agriculture building in Morganton, North Carolina. Any bid received later than the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered. The County of Burke reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the County, to cancel the RFP in part or in its entirety, or to waive irregularities Remove existing EPDM membrane and insulation and legally dispose of. 2. Remove all shingles down to wood deck and legally dispose of. 3. Provide and install new 2.6 POLYISO insulation to manufacturer's specifications. 4. Provide and install new .060 mil TPO membrane to manufacture's specifications. 5. Provide and install new underlayment for shingles to manufacture's specifications. 6. Provide and install new shingles to manufacturer's specifications. 7. Flash all walls, curbs, and drains to manufacture's specifications. 8. Shingled area of the roof is estimated to be between 17,000 - 22,000 square feet & membrane area of the roof is approximately 2,800 square feet 9. Vendor is responsible for verifying total square footage prior to submitting their bid
