The County of Burke is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the replacement 11 Trane Rooftop Packaged Units at the Foothills Higher Education Center in Morganton, NC. The County of Burke reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids not deemed to be in the best interest of the County, to cancel the RFP in part or in its entirety, or to waive irregularities Scope of Work 1. Provide and install eleven (11) new Trane rooftop packed units. 2. Remove and dispose of eleven (11) existing Trane rooftop units. 3. Provided all equipment needed for removal and installation. 4. Provide turnkey installation of all units. Specifications 1. The eleven (11) new Trane rooftop packaged units must include the following specifications: a. Breakdown of units: i. 1 - 4-ton unit ii. 3 - 8-ton units iii. 2 - 8.5-ton units iv. 1 - 10-ton unit v. 3 - 12.5-ton units vi. 1 - 25-ton units b. Trane Controls c. Trane Communication interface d. 0-100% Economizer with barometric relief e. Comparative Enthalpy f. Condenser Coil Guards g. High Static Drive h. 1-year parts and labor warranty i. 5-years compressor parts warranty 2. Provide and install Adapter Curbs, if needed. 3. Disconnect and reconnect existing ERV's. 4. Disconnect and reconnect all ductwork and electrical to old and new units. 5. Disconnect and reconnect existing Trane controls BAS. 6. Disconnect and reconnect existing return air smoke detector. 7. Provide a clean and safe working environment during entire project. Requirements 1. Proposals must include itemized cost for all work to be performed including equipment, installation, programming, and training. 2. Vendors must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM.gov) and be eligible to receive Federal grant funds. 3. Proposer must provide general liability insurance, with a combined single limit of $1,000,000 for each occurrence and $2,000,000 in the aggregate or as otherwise specified in addendum, whichever is greater.
