Estimated Cost Range: $150,000 - $300,000 The Port of Tacoma (Port) and NWSA are soliciting proposals from highly qualified firms interested in providing services to assist in supporting requirements for On Call Cultural Resource Services. Task orders will be issued for a specific scope and deliverable. The overarching scope of the project includes, but is not limited to the following: Conduct background research at appropriate repositories and online. Preparation of Cultural Resources Analysis Reports detailing the history of a given area and likelihood that important resources may be encountered. On-site monitoring of construction work when archaeological observers are required. Response to inadvertent discoveries, and preparation of reports in accordance with requirements detailing the results of observations of excavation work. Close coordination with local Tribes, particularly the Puyallup's is critical. Interfacing with agencies and interested parties, including; the Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers and potentially other local tribes.
