Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope The purpose of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (the Société) is to contribute to the economic and social development of the City of Montréal by developing real estate assets of a residential, institutional, industrial, commercial and cultural nature on its territory. The Société is a financially independent non-profit paramunicipal organization, mandatary of the City of Montreal. The mandate consists of work to replace two roofs and structural reinforcement of the rear foundation of two turrets at 2141 to 2151 Saint-André Street in Montreal. The work will take place in the summer and fall of 2022. WARRANTY AND INSURANCE: The tender must be accompanied by a tender guarantee for a value of 10% of the tender, valid for ninety (90) days. A performance bond and a bond for wages, materials and services, valued at 50% each of the value of the contract, as well as general liability insurance in the minimum amount of $2,000,000 and construction site insurance all risks will be required when the contract is awarded. To be validly received, the tender documents must be placed in a clearly identified envelope bearing the description of the project as well as the tender number, which must be sealed. The tender documents will be available in French only. Tenderers must have, at the time of submission of the tender, a business establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement on the liberalization of markets applicable to this call for tenders and hold the appropriate licenses issued by the Régie du Québec building and a valid certificate issued by Revenu Québec. The Company does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and assumes no obligation of any kind whatsoever towards the tenderer(s). awrd is subject to final approval.
