The Otay Water District (District) will require the professional services of a consulting firm (Consultant) to provide corrosion engineering services in support of the District's Cathodic Protection Program and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for a period of two calendar years (2023 and 2024). The services include annual pipeline and reservoir cathodic protection system surveys, annual Corrosion Control Program Report management, geodatabase maintenance, and as-needed corrosion engineering services. Consultants must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1 (a)]. If a consultant submits a proposal but is not registered with the Department of Industrial Relations, their proposal will be considered unresponsive. Q & A deadline: Jul 12, 2022 7:00:00 PM EDT Request for Proposal (RFP) materials will be e-mailed to qualified firms on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. All questions regarding the consulting services should be referred to Jeff Marchioro, P.E., via e-mail prior to issuance of the RFP.
