Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Moline, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project consists of installation of Owner furnished biosolids equipment as well as two (2) alternate bid items. The biosolids equipment consists of two (2) screw presses, a conveyor system and four (4) sludge feed pumps. Work also includes piping, associated electrical and mechanical equipment, and temporary connections. All existing sewage treatment facilities shall remain operational during construction. All work shall comply with OSHA requirements. Alternates include: Alternate 1 Temporary Dewatering Costs In lieu of phasing as shown on the plans, provide temporary dewatering for sludge to shorten construction time. Alternate 2 Center Gate Automation and West Gate Rehabilitation Provide automation for the center gate of the south fence as well as rehabilitation of the existing west gate on the south fence. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder MUST comply with all portions of the Illowa Construction Labor and Management Council IMPACT Memorandum of Understanding Agreement. The Project Labor Agreement is included within the Contract Documents. The City of Moline will provide the Project Labor Agreement for execution by the Contractor, their Sub-Contractors and the City.
