Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Moline, Illinois. Working plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 2, 2024, per owner a design team has been identified. Phase 1 has been completed for design, but there is no funding for phase 2 at this time. Project is on hold until at least 2025. In compliance with the Local Government Professional Services Selection Act, the Moline Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Renew Moline, a 501(C)(3) non-profit economic development entity ("Renew"), are seeking submittals from qualified firms for a two-phase design exercise for a skate park and pump track to be located under the new I-74 bridge. The project will also include 2% for public art, which will be integrated into the project design. Firms interested in the project should submit a Qualification Packet addressing the specified Request for Qualifications (RFQ) criteria. Please provide one original and one electronic (PDF) copy of the response to RFQ in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Response to Skatepark and Pump Track Request for Qualifications". Proposer's fee schedule and reimbursable costs shall accompany the response but must be in a separate sealed envelope clearly marked "Cost Proposal". Two (2) paper copies of the Cost Proposal shall be included.
