Document 00 43 70 - Subcontractor Work Listing shall be completed and submitted with the Bid or within one (1) hour after the published Bid submittal time. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid security, cashier's check, money order, or surety bid bond, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid including Alternates, if any. A bid bond shall not be conditioned in any way to modify the minimum five percent (5%) required. Surety companies executing Bid Bonds must appear on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current list (Circular 570 as amended) and be authorized to transact business in the State of Washington. In addition, the surety must be rated "A-, FSC (VI)", or higher by A.M. Best Rating Guide. Checks shall be payable to the Port of Seattle. The Work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals to replace the medium-voltage circuit breakers in the North Concourse N2 Power Center. Medium Voltage breakers N2-PSB1-19B-1 and N2-PSB1-19A-1 will be replaced. The purpose is to reduce the severity or mitigate Arc Flash incident energy levels to below 40cal/cm2 while still maintaining coordination with both upstream and downstream protective devices. In addition, the project will install new standard snubber circuits upstream of transformers, and add thermal imaging windows in MV circuit breakers and transformers for the power centers listed above. Lastly, a communications interface will be provided a wall mounted enclosure for power centers N2-M4-19A-1 and N2-M4-19B-1 for a future connection to the SCADA system. Contractor will utilize the services of Eaton Corporation to perform the Arc Flash Mitigation (AFM) conversion of the existing Switchgear. The contract will be awarded for an estimated amount not to exceed $800,000, which excludes Washington State Sales Tax. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract sum. The initial term of this Contract is one (1) year. The WMBE utilization goal is 0% for this contract. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, equipment, materials and incidentals necessary to perform the work as requested by the Port of Seattle a Work Authorization. All Contractor labor shall be provided as defined by the labor classifications per the Schedule of Unit Prices listed in Document 00 41 00 - Bid Form.
