Renovation of an educational facility in Sneedville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Contracts will be awarded on the basis of lowest and best bid. The Hancock County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities for the purpose of making the award it feels is in the best interest of Hancock County. Any bids received after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids will be returned to the bidder unopened. Bidders must be contractors licensed in accordance with laws of the State of Tennessee. Employees of the selected contractor must have a sexual predator background check performed prior to entering any Hancock County Board of Education school grounds per Tennessee Code Annotated Section 49-5-413. A the Contractor(s) shall certify that all remaining work will be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days
