Coles County Request for Proposals Public Notice Notice is herby given that Coles County (Owner) is requesting proposals from qualified providers for removal of Asbestos and lead containing materials at the Coles County Courthouse, 651 Jackson Ave., Charleston, IL. The project consists of the removal of asbestos containing window caulk from the exterior perimeter of approximately 384 window openings using nonfriable wet removal methods. The project also includes the removal of 28 lead base painted basement windows and frames. All applicable federal, state, and local regulations must be followed. The project must be completed using IDPH licensed contractor and workers. This project is bid under National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants and OSHA standards, and applicable Illinois Department of Public Health regulations for commercial and public buildings.
