Site work and paving for a road / highway in Charleston, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Charleston is accepting sealed bids for the construction of an asphalt multi-use path at Sister City Park. Approximate quantities include Earth Excavation - 1,400 CY, Sub-base Granular Material - 1900 ton, and Hot Mix Asphalt 3" - 1,500 ton. Bids shall be submitted on forms and shall be enclosed in an envelope marked "Sister City Multi-Use Path". If possible, the award will be announced at the City Council Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on September 6, 2022. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder based on the total cost as indicated on the bid form. The City of Charleston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive an informality in the bidding procedure, and to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the City.
