The USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, Phoenix Arizona, has a requirement to install signs on Cave Creek Road (24) in support of forest sign program. This project requires the Contractor to perform work on Cave Creek Road (FSR 24) that includes removing, re-installing, replacing, and installing permanent regulatory, warning, and guide signs and traffic measures along the entire road length as well as replacing or repairing signs posts that do not comply with current Forest Service standards. The objective of this project is to ensure that all road signs and markers meet FS and MUTCD standards applicable to its use in order to improve driver safety and efficient navigability of roads. All work shall be completed in accordance with the project specifications. The project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform all the operations for the work specified. 2. Type of Award. As a result of this solicitation, the Government anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed-Price Construction Contract using Simplified Acquisition with Request For Proposal (RFP) format.
