Site work for a mixed-use development in Tavares, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
As of August 10, 2023 project was awarded to Rush Marine, awarded amount is $996,552.06. The Project is generally described as the demolition and replacement of the eastern boat ramp structure and tending dock system located at the Authority's Hickory Point Recreation Park site. Work elements will include demolition of the existing boat ramp, floating docks, gangways, fixed accessory docks and asphalt pavement immediately to the north of the boat ramp, construction of a new concrete boat ramp, concrete fixed accessory docks, and installation of new concrete floating docks with concrete piles, new aluminum gangways, construction of new asphalt north of the boat ramp, and all work required to restore the site to pre-work conditions.
