The intent of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to select a firm to provide Construction Management at Risk Services for retrofit of the HVAC system at Forest Grove Middle School . The responsibility for submitting a response to this RFQ at the School Board of St. Lucie County, Purchasing Department on or before the stipulated time and date will be solely and strictly the responsibility of the proposer. The School Board will in no way be responsible for delays caused by the United States Postal Service or caused by any other occurrence. Any proposals received after stipulated time and date will not be accepted, nor opened, and will be returned Questions Due Date: Oct 27th 2022, 3:00 PM The total construction budget for the project is $7.1 million. Upon notification of final selection, the firm ranked number one shall promptly submit a proposal of fees and unit costs for all services required under the contract. The fees may be adjusted as mutually agreed to in negotiations and incorporated into the related services contract documents. If the parties cannot agree on the fee and unit cost schedule for services, the District will proceed into negotiations with the next, subsequently ranked firm per Chapter 287.055, Florida Statutes. Actual fees and costs shall not be submitted prior to School Board approval of rankings and are not a factor in selection per Chapter 287.055, Florida Statutes.
