ILDOT - 043 - Bituminous Pavement Surface Removal and Hot-mix Asphalt Pavement and Shoulder Resurfacting on Renken Road This project will consist of 2 1/4 " Surface Removal from the existing Bituminous Pavement and Resurfacing with 2 1/4 " Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, except for at the existing bridge and approach pavements, which will consist of 1 1/2 " Surface Removal from the existing Bituminous Pavement and Resurfacing with 1 3/4 " Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course. Existing shoulders on the outsides of curves are to be milled and overlaid with Hot-Mix Asphalt Shoulders to correct cross slope deficiencies. Paved driveways and side roads on the outsides of curves will be removed and replaced with Hot-Mix Asphalt Shoulders and Incidental Hot-Mix Asphalt to the extent shown on the plans. The project will also consist of Pavement Markings, Raised Reflective Markers and other appurtenant work.
