Bella Vista Water District, Redding, California requests qualifications from engineering firms for the design, bid services and services during construction of a 3-million-gallon water storage tank and connecting pipelines in Bella Vista, California. The District has received an offer of grant assistance from the United States Bureau of Reclamation for the design and construction of the water storage tank that will enable the District to better manage its water resources, especially during drought conditions. The District owns the existing parcel that the proposed tank will be constructed on. The proposed project includes the following major tasks and services: 1. Tank siting evaluation identify and evaluate the best location for the proposed water storage tank. 2. Pipeline alignment evaluation identify and evaluate pipeline sizes, alignments, and appurtenances to connect the new tank to the District's existing water transmission facilities. 3. Tank and pipeline design prepare a preliminary design report, 60% design, final design, and engineers estimate for the recommended project including all required permitting. 4. Provide bid services including publishing, answer questions during bid process, bid review and notice to proceed. 5. Provide submittal review and response to requests for information during construction. 6. Provide construction management and inspection services associated with the construction of the proposed facilities. 7. Mapping, survey, and utility research prepare mapping for proposed water storage tank and pipelines including survey, right-of-way, and complete utility research. 8.
