To provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to install security film. The security film has been selected and it is up to the contractor to work with the security film distributor on shipping and receiving the film. All bids $100,000 or greater will be required to furnish a bid bond at the time of the bid opening. Bid bond may be in the form of a bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business within the Commonwealth of Virginia, a certified check payable to Chesapeake Public Schools. Bonds submitted shall be procured from a surety company licensed in the State of Virginia and shall be on the approved list of the Commonwealth of Virginia State Corporation Commission. All bonds will be delivered to the Director of Purchasing, School Administration Building, 312 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Virginia 23322. During the summer months each year, Chesapeake Public Schools may be operating on a summer schedule and will not be able to accept deliveries or open the school on Fridays during specific weeks.
