Professional Engineering Services for the Jerome Urban Renewal Agency Services: 1.The Jerome Urban Renewal Agency (JURA) is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified professional engineering firms interested in providing an assortment of civil engineering services. Proposed projects include, but are not limited to: A) New street, curb, gutter and sidewalk design and construction. B) Water line design and construction. C) Sewer line design and construction. D) Park facility design and construction. 2.The firm receiving award of the contract must be an Idaho licensed Professional Engineer, knowledgeable and experienced in areas of civil engineering listed above. Selection Process: The Agency will utilize a Qualification Based Selection process based on the criteria and point system below. The Agency s consultant selection committee will make recommendations to the Jerome Urban Renewal Agency Board of Commissioners, which will award the work. Contract negotiations will proceed with the firm receiving the JURA Board award. Respondents will be evaluated according to the following 100-point general criteria: Firm introduction including name, location of office(s), age, and size. (10 points) Qualifications of project team. Identify the project manager and include firm s organizational chart. Resumes of key members should also be included. (25 points) Brief biography of key personnel s experience designing any of the projects from above. (10 points) Related project experience and familiarity with Jerome. Include description of services provided, name of client, current contact information, and a list of project team members who worked on each project. (35 points) Statement of the availability of key personnel to work on these projects for the Agency. (20 points) List of the firm s insurance capacity. Firm must be capable of providing at least $1,000,000 in errors and omissions insurance. (Pass/Fail) Electronic Submittal of SOQ: Statements of Qualifications must be submitted via email to the address listed above. The description JURA RFQ must appear in the subject line. The name of each firm submitting their qualifications will be recorded by the Agency. The Statement of Qualifications should not exceed fifteen (15) pages, exclusive of covers, dividers, and resumes. The Agency may reject any and all Statements of Qualifications. The Agency may waive any informality or technicality in any submittal received, if the Agency believes it would serve the best interest of the Agency. The Agency may choose to assign any agreements to the City of Jerome for management of project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
