As of 7/16/2024, the City of Corpus Christi has decided to reject all bids on this project. The project will rebid. Project Scope: Demolish the existing boat ramp. Place sheet piling or cofferdams as needed to dewater area for placement of new boat ramp. Construct new boat ramp and 6'-wide floating pier with handrails. Place concrete pavement for vehicular and trailer access to the boat ramp. Place bollards to protect the accessible walkway to pier. Replace and repair limestone base are for vehicular and boat trailer access. Bidders must submit an acceptable Bid Security with their Bid as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract for the Project with the Owner within 10 days of Notice of Award of the Contract. The security must be payable to the City of Corpus Christi, Texas in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the greatest amount bid. Bid Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond or a cashier's check, certified check, money order, or bank draft from a chartered financial institution authorized to operate in the State of Texas.
