PROJECT BACKGROUND Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) has established standard security protocols and practices in all MPAC office locations(please refer to Contact for all of the current locations and addresses) as a means to provide a safe, healthy, and secure workplace. MPAC's security program includes remote management internally of the security systems pertaining to access control and intrusion detection. Security systems are monitored by a third-party including panic/duress alarms, resulting in appropriate alarm response. PROJECT SCOPE MPAC requires the supply, installation, and maintenance of access control and intrusion detection systems when offices are relocated, renovated, or infrastructure is upgraded, as well as the maintenance of existing Chubb AFx 4-58i access control and intrusion detection systems that are currently in place. All sites are to be able to function independently when disconnected from the central server. All locations are to be accessible by a fully integrated platform with centralized front-end, for access control and intrusion detection. The security system will need to accommodate a minimum of 2,500 shared users among all sites. PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVE(S) The Successful Respondent will be required to supply and install new security systems, as well as maintain both new and existing security systems for MPAC, pertaining to access control and intrusion detection, throughout the province of Ontario.
