Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

The Crawley Creek Bridge, located on the campus of the Canadian Coast Guard College is a glulam timber pedestrian bridge that spans the creek, linking walking trails on the campus. The bridge also carries the sanitary sewer line to CBRM facilities in nearby Sydport. Recently PSPC engaged a consultant for an updated condition survey and significant delamination of the glulam girders were discovered. The design is nearing completion for the emergency repairs of the glulam girders and the two-phase tendering process was chosen to prequalify bidders to ensure experienced companies self-identify for the next phase.
