Bids must be guaranteed for fiscal year 2022-2023. (Through June 30, 2023) All bidders must be properly licensed with the State of Tennessee. To demonstrate qualifications to perform work, each bidder must submit a completed Contractor Qualifications Statement with bid. The apparent successful bidder must provide the financial state portion of the qualification statement within 48 hours following bid opening. The City of Waverly may make any investigation deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform any work. Bidder shall finish all such information for this purpose that the City of Waverly may request. Successful bidder must also provide a certificate of insurance including general liability and workmans compensation and employers liability. A copy of the Tennessee Drug-Free Workplace affidavit must also be included with bid. The City of Waverly reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City of Waverly also reserves the right to reject any bid if evidence submitted by, or investigation of such bidder fails to satisfy the city that such bidder is qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work as specified herein.
