Site work for a water / sewer project in Beaufort, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Carter County Harbor Authority is seeking quotes to remove one broken piling, replace that piling, and to jack the dock back in place, Also to repair and replace some X bracing on he existing pilings. All to be nailed, then bolted in place with at least 5/8 inch galvanized bolts. Trea ed pilings to be installed 30' L X 12" butt end Remove broken piling and replace with specified size lnstaII X bracing with 5/8" bolts to the newly installed piling using 2"x10" treated lum , er, some bracing is there but needs new fastening. May need as many as 8-10 new X braces. inspect dock framing in vicinity of damage and repair if necessary Contraction shall furnish all materials for this job. Contractors must provide current Certificates of Insurance for pu lie liability, property damage, and Workers' Compensation. Als a current W9 tax form must be provided with quote. Qu tes/bids/proposals will not be accepted after the due date list d below. All contractual terms and conditions will be subject to r view by Carteret County and will include scope, schedule, and other necessary items pertaining to the project. Project should be started within 15 days of award.
