Reference number : 1622144 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-07-25 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope The City of Acton Vale is seeking bids since it plans to design and build a pump track on a 2,200 square meter portion of land in a park located near the Complexe multisports Desjardins. The new layout must be designed for skateboards, scooters, inline skates, BMX, etc. The project must include the development drawing, the planning of the work procedure, the layout of the track on the ground, the supervision of the site for all the stages of the preparation as well as the design of the track, the machinery , surfacing equipment and transport and accommodation costs. The successful bidder will be required to provide all the materials needed to build the runway as well as the trucks to bring the materials to the site, except for granular materials and topsoil. These will be provided by the City as well as their transport. The courses must total at least 900 m 2. Note that the City of Acton Vale will see to the preparation of the land, the construction of drainage infrastructure and the earthworks (compost, grass, etc.) . Consequently, civil engineering plans must be provided by the tenderer in order to allow the preparation of the land by the Town of Acton Vale. The City therefore wishes to receive bids to obtain the services necessary for the design of a pumptrack with a maximum value of $180,000, in a turnkey formula. Interested companies or individuals are invited to respond to the call for tenders within the prescribed deadlines. 1.2 Responsible For the purposes of this call for tenders and unless otherwise indicated on its part, the City obliges the tenderer to address themselves exclusively to the person in charge of the call for tenders and to no other person: Stephane Chagnon, Director of Services culture and sports at stephane.chagnon@ville.actonvale.qc.ca Any breach of this obligation may result in the rejection of the submission. 1.4 Terms - Tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes bearing the inscription "Pumptrack Tender". - Submissions that do not comply with the specifications and conditions may be rejected. Any incomplete, conditional tender, which contains additions not requested, or irregularities of any kind or which does not contain the required declarations may also be rejected as irregular. - The tenderer cannot withdraw his tender after it has been opened to the City. If his submission is accepted, he will be bound by the terms of his submission. - In its analysis of the tenders received, the City reserves the right to disregard minor exemptions that have no direct consequences on the nature and scope of this call for tenders. 1.5 Contract award The City does not bind itself to accept the bid with the highest score or any of the bids received, and it declines all responsibility with regard to any of the bidders in the event of the rejection of all the bids.
