This is a Design Build Project The Contractor shall investigate and construct the best resolution to safely access, maintain and test eighty eight(88)Fire, Smoke Dampers that were found to be non-accessible. Contractor to demonstrate to the facility the ease of safely accessing all dampers in question. This will not be limited to the following considerations: 1. Reroute duct work 2. Reroute electrical 3. Reroute domestic plumbing lines 4. Provide platforms and or ladders; platforms without a fixed ladder must be safely reached with a floor mounted ladder of 8' or less and have safety anchor points 5. Provide larger access panels(minimumsize18"xl8")to allow for viewing the damper and reaching inside to replace any links, springs, or other maintenance of the damper inside the duct 6. Reroute branch chill and hot water lines for mechanical 7. Ensure all RIPE labels are in the correct location for the dampers Any repairs and modifications to the major systems involved shall provide a 15 year life extension as the mission and operational window of the MTF is planned to remain intact for the foreseeable future.
