Please be advised that a Five (5%) Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Affidavit, State of West Virginia Affidavit, and Bid Sheet must accompany all bids or it will not be accepted. Bid Bond may be in the form of a Certified Check drawn on the bidder's account and made payable to the City of Weirton. In accordance with City Ordinance No. 973, a Five Percent (5%) preference for resident vendors shall be in effect. The contract to furnish the above item as herein advertised will be awarded by Weirton City Council to the firm or persons submitting the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Weirton. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable.
