This contract is subject to the public procurement liberalization agreements established by the Government of Quebec: Internal Trade Agreement; Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Quebec and Ontario (ACCQO); Quebec and New Brunswick Public Procurement Liberalization Agreement (2008) (AQNB); Intergovernmental agreement on public procurement between the government of Quebec and the government of the state of New York (AQNY). TENDER GUARANTEES Tenders must be accompanied by a tender guarantee, in the form of a certified check or a tender bond, for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount of the tender submitted. The whole, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days and made payable to or in favor of the Project Owner, the Kativik Municipal Housing Office (KMHB). Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender, and must ensure that they hold the required licenses and permits. Due to order number 2020-014 of the Minister of Health and Social Services dated April 2, 2020, the Agent must modify the process for opening tenders in order to comply with the Health Act section, chapter S-2.2, concerning the ordering of measures to protect the health of the population in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic.
