Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in King Salmon, Alaska. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The Contractor shall provide professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the design of a heated, 4-bay Snow Removal Equipment Building (SREB) at King Salmon Airport (AKN). Concept plan for building suggests that it is approximately 140 long x 100 feet deep with a concrete slab foundation. Each bay will be a pull-through with 30 wide doors at each end. Building will be connected to existing airport building. Services are anticipated to include: Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Geotechnical Engineering, Architecture, Surveying, Environmental, Cost Estimating, and assistance during Bidding and Construction. Estimated range (US$): 500,000 to 1,000,000 Plans room: Central Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately September 2022 to December 2026. Cost of these professional services is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available July 7, 2022 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue in Anchorage, AK.
