Almond Street, Ste. 101, Alice, Texas 78332. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to Jim Wells County, Texas, in the amount of the amount bid as a guarantee that the contract and bonds will be entered into by the Contractor. Within 30 days of contract execution and prior to beginning work. Bidders should use unit pricing. Jim Wells County will select a bidder based on the lowest responsible base bid price and bidder s qualifications including past performance. Jim Wells County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. The winning bid will be awarded at a later date during Commissioner s Court regular or specially called meeting after the bids have been evaluated.
