Renovation of a water / sewer project in Keswick, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Bids will be accepted from approved General Contractors and Electrical subcontractors under Request for Pre-Qualification No. RFPQ-838-22. Keswick Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF) Aeration Blower Upgrades. The Keswick Water Resource Recovery Facility(WRRF) is an extended aeration treatment facility originally constructed in 1984 servicing the Town of Georgina. An optimization study of the secondary treatment process at Keswick WRRF was completed to enhance the overall performance of the process while minimizing the operational impact and optimizing energy use. The study completed June 2018, recommended replacement of all four centrifugal blowers to improve operational flexibility, enable efficient and stable air flow across the full operating range, eliminate air flow performance gaps, reduce maintenance issues and improve reliability of the blower process.
