As of October 31, 2022, the project has been awarded and documents are being finalized. Construction has not started and an exact timeline has not been confirmed. Project consists of: Construction of a 50 feet x 60 feet pre-engineered metal building structure and related site improvements & paving as indicated on the design documents and located at the property located at 5398 Grassy Pond Road, Lake Park, Georgia. Site work related to this project shall include finish grading in the area of the structure, asphalt paving, concrete paving, placement of aggregate base gravel drive, related erosion control and repairs to any damaged existing site improvements that were caused by construction activities and as indicated on the design documents. A Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid payable to the "Lowndes County Board of Commissioners" must accompany bids.The Bid Bond shall be issued by a company authorized to do business in the State. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Qualified contractors shall be commercial general contractors licensed to provide contracting services in Lowndes County, Georgia.
