Renovation of an educational facility in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Work shall be Bid as a Single Prime General Contract (all trades). The Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the total amount of Bid. All Bids must be effective for sixty (60) days from the date of Bid opening The Allentown School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or portions thereof. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check and/or bond, with corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, approved August 15, 1961, P.L. 987 (Act No. 442), as amended and supplemented, and reference is made to the prevailing minimum wage rates applicable to this project which has been promulgated by the Secretary of Labor and Industry The Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, with or without cause.
