Renovation of a mixed-use development in Danville, Illinois. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

As of January 26, 2024, a design team has not been identified, construction is expected April 1, 2024 to December 1, 2025. The City of Danville has chosen to undertake rehabilitation of the Garfield Park and Pool. The purpose of this request for qualifications is to select the most qualified consultant to meet the City's goals for renovation of the pool facilities and the park. Requested services include final design of the park based on the park masterplan/vision book and construction engineering/project management related to construction of both the park and pool improvements. The pool design is already underway and shall be integrated into a single construction bid with the park improvement project. The selected consultant will be expected to coordinate seamlessly with the pool design consultant to make sure the City's goal for the project, project budget, and timeframe are met. Based upon the evaluation of the submittals, the City reserves the right to invite any or all consultants for an interview with the Evaluation Team before making a final selection.
